  • Differential Equation Solver App

The Differential Equation Solver app allows you to enter in any differential equation or sets of differential equations and not only solve them to download them but it allows you to also plot the solutions as well.

    Distance Calculator App

The Distance Calculator app calculates how far an object travels based on its initial position, its velocity (or speed with direction), acceleration, and time traveled.

    Matrix Rank Calculator App

A rank of a matrix is a way to describe a matrix. This app will calculate the rank of a matrix based on the numbers of columns and rows of a matrix. Note that if there are linearly dependent columns or rows then the rank reported is the maximum rank it can be. In other words, the rank reported is what the rank would be if all rows and columns are linearly independent.

Nanoparticle Diffusion and Time to Travel Distance Calculator App

The nanoparticle diffusion app above allows you to estimate the diffusivity of a nanoparticle based on its diameter and temperature and then you can estimate how long it takes to travel a certain distance.

Power Analysis App for Estimating Sample Size

A power analysis is critical for understanding what sample size is needed for obtaining meaningful statistics. This calculator can calculate what sample size is needed if you enter the minimum sample number required (>1), the maximum sample number, the power cut-off (i.e., 0.8 or 80%) and the %CV. It also shows how to calculate standard deviation from %CV which represents the coefficient of variation.

    Balls on Strings App

Have you ever wanted to play with balls on strings? Here is your chance. You can even change the color of the blue balls to red or green. Go ahead and move them around.

    A Bouncy Ball App

The Bouncy Ball app allows you to view a bouncy ball bouncing and change all sorts of parameters, like gravity effects. Try it out.

    Diffusion in 2D App

In this app you can view diffusion of a particle in 2D. You can choose the length of the animation, the frames per second, as well as the height of the figure. In addition, you can change whether the particle has a tail or trailing effect.

    Interactive 3D Plot App

In this app, you can view a simple 3D plot and spin it around and zoom in and out so you can see what shape the plot has in all dimensions.

    Interactive Spiral 3D Plot App

In this plot, there is a blue spiral in a helical shape. You can also spin the 3D plot around and zoom in and out to see it fully.

    Random Number Generator App

In this app, you can choose a lower bound and an upper bound value. You can then choose how many numbers the app will randomly generate. You can also choose whether the same number can be pulled randomly more than once in the list. You can choose up to 1 million numbers!

    Target Number Game App

This app is a fun game where you can choose a target number to land on. The way the game works is that you choose a range of values that you can add to reach the target number while taking turns with the computer. For example, you can choose 1 to 10 for the range of numbers and then choose 100 as the target number. You will always go first in this game. You will choose the first number to add (must be 1 to 10 in this case) and then the computer will take a turn adding a number from 1 to 10 to the same number you started with. You will take turns adding to this number until the computer or you can land on the target number. Whoever lands on the target number wins! Give it a try. I bet you will lose.

    Web Scraper App

This is an awesome app where you can type in any url to test whether the web page can be scraped by a bot. The bot will grab certain information out and you can see whether that website will allow you to scrape it. For example, you can see whether the bot can calculate the number of outgoing links on the website as well as give you links for all of the links on that website.

Change Background Color of All of these Apps

This app has the ability to let you choose what background all of the apps are! If a color you like is missing, let me know and I’ll add it (admin@pharmacoengineering.com).
